Fashion Mind, the eco-friendly fashion game
€19,00 €23,00How to be fashionable in a sustainable way?
Fashion Mind is a family board game about sustainable and responsible fashion in which you put together the wardrobe of your dreams to become the most stylish person… without polluting too much. Every piece of clothing has an impact and can damage our Planet. You will therefore need to find alternatives to fast fashion, or try to answer Quiz cards correctly, in order to preserve our environment.
Ethical and responsible fashion, sustainable raw materials (such as organic cotton), eco-friendly and second-hand clothing, made in France… Throughout the game, players discover that there are many alternatives to fast fashion, without necessarily giving up the pleasure of fashion.
At the end, two trophies are awarded: the "Mega Stylish" card, to the person who has collected the most style points, and the "Maxi Polluter" card, to the person who has accumulated the most pollution points. If one person receives both trophies, they lose their Mega Stylish card.
Because… Pollution is not sexy.

Compose the most stylish wardrobe
A game of Fashion Mind takes place in 3 phases.
At the beginning of each phase, you receive 6 cards. It is up to you to choose: add a new garment to your wardrobe or try to preserve the Planet by answering a Quiz.
Each piece of clothing earns style points, but some also have an impact on the Planet and make its thermometer rise. Other garments must be associated to create combinations and earn even more style points. It is up to you to build your strategy!
Be careful, the Planet is shared by everyone. If its thermometer reaches the 7th level, it becomes unliveable and everyone loses the game. So you will have to be stylish… but not at any price.
Is the Planet in danger? Try to answer a Quiz card correctly to earn an environmental preservation point or count on others to lower the Planet's thermometer, while you quietly accumulate your style points.
Once you have made your choice, pass your cards to the player on your left and pick up a new hand. With each turn, the possibilities change: which garment to keep? Which one to let go? Should you prioritize your style or preserve the Planet?
At the end of each phase, an Event card spices up the game and can disrupt your plans.

A game to understand the environmental impact of our clothing
The textile industry alone accounts for several billion tons of CO₂e emitted annually worldwide. Added to this is a massive production of clothing, some of which will never be worn: some estimates suggest up to several tens of billions of unsold garments each year.
In France, we buy an average of 48 new textile products per person per year. This gives us cause to seriously question our consumption habits.
With Fashion Mind, discover in a fun way the environmental impact of our clothes and the alternatives to fast fashion: second-hand, textile reuse, repair, choice of materials (linen, hemp, organic cotton), circular economy, committed brands…
There is no question of making the players feel guilty, however! The Quiz cards provide concrete and sourced information on the textile industry and our consumption habits, while the game mechanics allow for experimenting with different ways of dressing and consuming.
Fashion Mind is above all a board game: you think, you try out strategies, you steal the best cards from each other… and you learn a lot of things without even realizing it.
A game created in partnership with the National Network of Ressourceries and Recycleries
Fashion Mind was created in partnership with the National Network of Ressourceries and Recycleries, which participated in its development.
Hundreds of Ressourceries and Recycleries across France have the game to use it, particularly during textile reuse awareness workshops.
As both a family game about responsible fashion and an educational tool, Fashion Mind can be used at home, but also by teachers, associations, ressourceries, local authorities, and environmental education and awareness professionals.
An educational booklet to learn more about eco-responsible fashion
To continue exploring the underside of the textile industry after the game, an educational booklet can be downloaded for free with the purchase of the game.
In it, you will find additional information on eco-responsible clothing, the impact of our clothes, fast fashion, textile reuse, and alternatives to make our wardrobe more responsible.
