€15,00"En parler c'est avancer" (Speaking Up Helps You Progress) is a game developed with ANLCI, the French National Agency for Fighting Illiteracy.
The goal of this game is to break taboos and raise awareness about illiteracy, and to deepen one's knowledge on the subject through a fun, cooperative, and entertaining tool.
How to raise awareness about illiteracy with a game?
In teams, your objective is to create the shortest path (to get out of an illiteracy situation as quickly as possible) by answering the questions as accurately as possible. A quick game (20-minute rounds), fun, and easy to pick up, designed to raise awareness about illiteracy.
In this game, you will find 5 difficulty levels, as well as bonus cards related to financial education, addressing the topic of innumeracy, which is often correlated with illiteracy.
Each level includes 6 types of cards:
- Definition cards, to test your knowledge on the subject
- Key Figure cards, to better understand the extent of the problem
- Situation cards, to put yourself in the shoes of someone facing illiteracy
- Debate cards, to collectively reflect on complex issues related to illiteracy
- Information cards, to learn about solutions to implement
- Culture cards, to discover cultural artifacts related to the subject
Be careful, if you answer incorrectly, you'll have forfeits! These forfeits will allow you to learn even more, add some spice to the game, and make your teammates laugh.
The game ends when you reach the end of the path. Depending on the number of cards used, you will discover your level of knowledge on the topic of illiteracy.
